Senior Product Manager – AI (Pharma & Healthcare)

Position Overview

Humigent, a new rapidly growing health tech product company, is looking for a Senior Product Manager with a strong healthcare/pharma background and hands-on technical proficiency to drive the product lifecycle building solutions for the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. The role blends strategic product ownership, execution, and technical fluency (SQL/Python, AI tools) to turn complex healthcare requirements into clear, actionable specifications for engineering and AI teams.

You will serve as the critical bridge between domain experts and the engineering/data science teams.

Key Responsibilities

Product Execution & Delivery

• Own and drive the product roadmap elements (as assigned), prioritizing features based on healthcare user needs, business impact, and technical feasibility
• Identify feature enhancements and new product opportunities
• Write Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning 
• Work closely with engineering and data science teams to deliver product features
• Track timelines, risks, dependencies, and delivery milestones

Stakeholder Management

• Partner with leadership, healthcare domain experts, and customers to align product direction with business needs

Product Documentation & Requirements

• Create PRDs, workflows, use cases, and user journeys
• Maintain product documentation, release notes, and knowledge repositories
• Prepare product demos, product presentations, product videos and internal documentation

AI / Data Product Ownership & Technical Contribution

• Collaborate with data science teams to define AI/ML use cases, evaluate model outputs, and translate clinical/business logic into technical requirements
• Use SQL and/or Python to independently query data, validate assumptions, prototype analytics/dashboard features, and define data requirements for engineering handoff
• Validate product functions and AI outputs against healthcare domain standards and user expectations
• Leverage AI-powered tools (e.g., LLMs, Copilot, code assistants) to accelerate workflows such as requirements drafting, data exploration, and rapid prototyping

Product Operations

• Manage Notion trackers, documentation, and product metrics
• Track product KPIs, adoption, and feature usage
• Support roadmap tracking and prioritization
• Improve and support product management processes and workflows

Required Qualifications

• 5–8 years of Product Management experience
• Experience working with technology, SaaS, AI, analytics, or data products
• Experience writing PRDs, user stories, managing product documentation
• Proven ability to serve as the bridge between non-technical stakeholders and engineering/data science teams, translating complex domain requirements into clear technical specifications
• Strong analytical mindset — you challenge assumptions with data, not opinions, and can structure ambiguous problems into actionable plans
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, cross-functional team environment
• Mandatory: Hands-on experience in Pharma, Healthcare, or Life Sciences — you should understand Pharma/Biotech commercial and clinical workflows, regulatory nuances, and how healthcare stakeholders think

Working proficiency in SQL or Python, with familiarity in AI/ML tools and LLM-based workflows, is strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Startup experience — comfortable with ambiguity, fast iteration cycles, and wearing multiple hats
• Experience with healthcare compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GxP, FDA digital health guidelines)
• Exposure to data engineering concepts, APIs, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
